Sat 26 May: Marking two years in custody – ‘Plant Seeds for Truth’ in Wales for Bradley Manning

Bradley Manning solidarity at seedling swap in Bala

When? Saturday 26 May, 1pm until 4.30pm.

Where? Canolfan Bro Tegid, High Street, Bala, Gwynedd LL23 7LU or thereabouts.

We’ll be taking this CODEPINK collaborative political art project Plant Seeds of Truth: Free Bradley Manning! to a seedling swap day in Bala, Wales on Saturday 26 May to mark the second anniversary of Bradley Manning’s detention without trial in the US.

We will give out packets of sunflower seeds to encourage people to take part in the project in solidarity with Bradley, who has Welsh roots and whose maternal family still lives in Wales.

Take a packet of sunflower seeds, sow them, get your camera out and be part of this collaborative political art project initiated by the women’s anti-war group CODEPINK in solidarity with Bradley Manning. The result will be displayed during Bradley’s court martial this autumn in the US.

Seedling Swap Event

Bring your seedlings and spare seeds to swap and share and take some others home with you for FREE.

You don’t need to bring plants to take any.

A suggest entry fee of £1 for adults and 50p for children will go
towards the cost of the hall.
